Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili and Healthcare Minister Davit Sergeenko jointly briefed about introduction of a new medicine Harvoni, a Hepatitis C Drug from Gilead in Hepatitis C Elimination program starting 2016. 

According to Gharibashvili, the first stage of the program deserved positive evaluation from various international organizations, and it will continue next year involving more people. “Georgia proved to be an example in practicing the program,” PM said.
