Latvian President arrived in Georgia

Latvian President Raimonds Vējonis arrived in Georgia on a state visit today. 

Raimonds Vējonis arrived in Georgia for a three-day state visit together with his wife Iveta Vējonis. The guests are hosted by the President of Georgia and the first lady.

The official welcoming ceremony will be held at the Presidential Palace tomorrow.

Face to face and extended meetings will be held with President Margvelashvili, after which a joint press conference will be held. Bilateral documents will be signed as well. 

Raimonds Vējonis will lay a wreath at the memorial of heroes and will hold a working dinner with the Parliament Speaker.

On March 28 the presidents of Latvia and Georgia will attend the Georgia-Latvia friendly football match.

On March 29, the Georgian and Latvian Presidents will visit the occupation line, after which they will leave for Kvareli and open a Latvian investment project.

The Latvian President’s visit Georgia will end on March 30.
