The 100-point driving license system will take effect on July1. The contactless patrolling initiative will also take effect on the same day.

As Georgia’s Deputy Interior Minister Shalva Khutsishvili declared, the period until July 1 will be used for information campaign.

According to the parliamentary bill, the points system will be given to the driving license issued in Georgia as well as in foreign countries.

The points system itself has changed a bit. In case the points are reduced to 0, the driver’s license will be suspended for a year and it will be necessary to take an exam to get it back.
