Chief Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia will host the international Conference

Chief Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia will host the 8th Eastern European and Central Asian Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors. 

Conference on the topic ‘Returns of Illegally Obtained Property and Cybercrime’ shall be held this year on June 27-28.

President of the International Association of Prosecutors, its Secretary General, Executive Director, member of the executive committee, General Advisor of the Association, leading officials of prosecutor’s offices of Eastern Europe and Central Asia will participate in the two-day conference.

Exactly such regional conferences of the Association held in the name and with support of the Association in 6 regions of the world are most important platform to share information and experience between the member organizations.

International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) was founded 1995 and is the only international organization of prosecutors, which unites 172 prosecution bodies of 171 countries and about 3,000 individual members under itself. Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia is an organizational member.

President of the International Association of Prosecutors, Gerhard Jarosch and Chief Prosecutor of Georgia, Irakli Shotadze will open the Conference.

Conference is hosted by Georgia for the first time.
