MIA releases statement on detention of drug dealers

Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has released an official statement over fortnight’s special operation when drug dealers were arrested.

As reported by the ministry, N.J. born in 1989 and M.J. born in 1976 were arrested for illegal possession and purchase of drugs in Ponichala settlement, Tbilisi. 

‘As investigated, the detainees systematically sold the drugs. Police seized heroine in 33 packs. Investigation has been underway according to the 1st and 4th parts of the 260th article of Georgia’s Criminal Code,’ reads the statement.
