President has to made decision about Constitutional changes before October 10


Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will have to make a decision about project of Constitutional changes before October 10 based on the legislation. 

President met with members of parliamentary majority earlier today. Consultations at Presidential Residence were held behind the closed door. 

The ruling Georgian Dream Party suggested President using of veto over two issues -- abolishment of so-called bonus system and admission of formation of election blocs for the 2020 parliamentary elections. 

According to majority MPs, President has the right to make the decision based on recommendations provided by Venice Commission, an advisory board of Council of Europe.
