CEC to issue summarizing protocols of local elections

A sitting begins at Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC). Tamar Zhvania, Chairperson of CEC will issue summarizing protocols of October 21 local self-governance elections. The second-round of local elections will be held on November 12. 

The district election commission has issued a summary protocol on the mayoral elections of Tianeti. According to the protocol, the decision of the Court of Appeals was upheld and Tamaz Mechiauri was declared as the winner of the elections. The candidate of Georgian Dream is going to appeal against the decision in the court.
