At least 32 dead in explosions across Iraq

Bomb attacks across Iraq have killed at least 32 people. The deadliest was a car bomb in a mainly Shi’ite area of Baghdad, which killed 16 people and wounded 48.

Police and medical sources say a suicide attack at a checkpoint in the central town of Tarmiya killed at least six soldiers and one police officer.

In the mainly Kurdish town of Mandali eight people were killed and 16 wounded in a car bomb explosion, Euronews reports.
