A fire broke out at the Cotton Factory in Tsalenjikha, western Samegrelo region. Three fire-fighting brigades are mobilized at the disaster scene. Fire-fighters managed to save the factory. However, cotton is fully destroyed. Nobody was injured in the fire. The factory is a private property and the owners will calculate the amount of inflicted damage. Investigation will determine exact causes of the fire. 

The fire, which broke out in Big Chailuri Forest in Sagarejo district of eastern Kakheti region last evening, has been localized for the time being. According to Emergency Situations Management Agency, 4 fire-fighting brigades are working at disaster site. The cause of the fire and the space of burnt territory are not determined yet. 

One out of six children, who were injured as a result of a road accident in Keda, Adjara region, underwent head surgery late night at Batumi Hospital. According to doctor’s patients health condition is stable.Four children still remain at hospital in Batumi. Their lives are not in danger. Another pupil is undergoing treatment at Keda regional clinic.Sixth graders of Batumi Public School # 6 were returning from Khulo to Batumi when the door of the bus opened and the children fell out on the road. Investigation has been launched according to the article #276 of Georgia’s Criminal Code that envisages violation of traffic rules. 

The boat of Coastline Guards discovered a corpse of a man in Gonio-Kvariati waters of the Black Sea in Adjara region of Georgia. Based on the information of First Channel, the corpse is transferred for expertise and identification. According to the preliminary version, the corpse belongs to the Turkish citizen. Investigation into the case is opened.  

“Geo-Coal GIG” Company released a statement about death of Davit Porchkidze, leading specialist in Mindeli Mine of Tkibuli town. The company expressed condolence to the family of the deceased miner. The dead body of the miner is transferred to Kutaisi Morgue. Collapse of land mass in the mine is said to have served as reason of the fatal incident according to the company’s statement. 

Did Patrol Police officers exceed their authorities over the tragic fact that took place at Nutsubidze Plato in Tbilisi on October 25 during which Paata Pavliashvili, 34, died? Many questions circulating over the incident have remained unanswered for the time being.Results of the expertise on corpse of Pavliashvili will become known in about 45 days. Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) does not comment over the incident and says that investigation is being led by Prosecutor’s Office. The family of the deceased man also keeps silence before completion of the ongoing investigation. The tragic fact is also probed into by Georgia’s Public Defender and three non-governmental organizations. Patrol Police officers, who participated in the incident, have already been questioned. Pavliashvili felt bad when law-enforcers were trying to detain him and died before neighbors called First Medical Aid. According to one of the members of the ruling team, there can be recording of cameras attached to patrol police officers during conduction of the detention operation than can serve as evidence. The medical autopsy was conducted in Rustavi town that also caused suspicion. Head of Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau told First Channel that the reason to transfer the corpse to Rustavi was ongoing repair works of an elevator envisaged for lifting dead bodies.

Majit Mamedov, a young man, was killed in Keshalo village, Sagarejo district of eastern Kakheti region. The man was inflicted multiple fatal wounds with a knife. Locals claim that financial liabilities became the motive of the crime. Mamedov demanded return of the debt and after receipt of a refusal tried to obtain valuable items. Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told First Channel that the suspect of the crime is determined, and search measures are undertaken.  Investigation is ongoing on charge of premeditated murder.  

Ketevan Kurdovanidze, 12, lost girl in Tbilisi has been found, relatives of the family informed First Channel. The girl has been missing since October 20 from Uiaragho Street. First Channel released the information and the photo upon request of the family. 

The members of the Georgian Dream, who were wounded yesterday during Kizilajlo incident, remain in hospital for the time being. The health condition of two patients is stable; two of them are connected to artificial breathing apparatus.One day ahead of the local self-governance elections the Georgian Dream's election headquarters was attacked in the village of Kizilajlo, Marneuli district.The ruling party's majoritarian candidate and his accompanying persons were shot from a firearm.

Four people,  Majoritarian candidate of City Assembly among them, were wounded with a firearm in vicinities of the election headquarters of the “Georgian Dream” political party, located in Kizilajlo village, Marneuli.The Minister of Internal Affairs arrived in Kizilajlo yesterday and studied the situation on the ground. The wounded persons have been hospitalized. 

The accident occurred in the village of Kisiskhevi in ​​Telavi municipality. The 45-year-old man was killed by falling tree. The man was trying to cut the tree during the accident.The deceased was transferred to the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau in Gurjaani. According to MIA, investigation is in progress under the Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies the loss of life by negligence.

She died at hospital. Eyewitnesses reported that the woman was hanging a blanket on a balcony and was asking for help when she fell off. The woman was in an unconscious condition when she was delivered at Zugdidi Referral Hospital. Doctors failed to save her life.

The corpse of about 27-year-old man was found in a café at Erekle II Street in Telavi city of eastern Kakheti region of Georgia. Eyewitnesses told First Channel that the man had the café rented. Other details of the fact are not known. Officers of Criminal Police are working at site. Ongoing investigation will determine the reason of the man’s death.  

A passenger mini-bus was set ablaze at “Kidobani” Trade Center in Tbilisi. Fire-fighters and a vehicle of First Medical Aid arrived at site in a timely manner. The fire was extinguished in 15 minutes. Nobody was injured in the accident. Five workers were injured in collapsing incident of a building being under construction near Justice House in Batumi city of Adjara region. The injured workers were placed at hospitals. Their health condition is not life-threatening. The block of apartments is being built by Alliance Palace Construction Company. Investigation into the incident is opened. 

A man over 40 in age was killed following a verbal conflict in Kurdghelauri village, Telavi Municipality of eastern Kakheti region. According to Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), one person is detained. He admits to have committed the crime. Investigation is ongoing on charge of premeditated murder. 

A gas container has been exploded at the Georgian checkpoint on the Georgia-Dagestan border. Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that the incident took place yesterday evening and it claimed life of one border guard and injured two of them.The injured border guards have been hospitalized. An investigation is ongoing under Article 124 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to negligence that caused damage to health.

A 32-year-old man was killed in a fatal accident in Gardabani district of Kvemo Kartli region. He was killed as a result of accidental firing of a hunting gun. According to reporter of First Channel of GPB, the accident took place while cleaning of the gun after hunting. Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained one person into the fact. Investigation is opened into the fatal accident. 

Fire is localized near Brotsliani settlment, in Tsnori. According to the Emergency Management Agency, the grass and shrub were quickly burnt and there were the danger of spreading fire near residential houses.After fire suppression operation, there is no danger of spreading the fire.According to the agency, rescuers have completed the fire-liquidation works.
