Russian court gives verdict on Ukraine pilot

A Russian judge is continuing reading the verdict on Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko, accused of helping to kill two Russian journalists, - BBC reporting.

She is accused of directing the artillery fire in which the two journalists died.

It was initially thought the judge had found her guilty, but her lawyers say a final verdict has not yet been delivered. She denies all the charges.

Ukraine and some Western countries have condemned the case as a show trial.
