Georgia has occupied the 64th place out of 180 in Press Freedom Index, an annual ranking of countries compiled and published by Reporters Without Borders organization. Georgia improved the rating in 2016 since it ranked the 69th place in 2015. The organization says that there is transparency with ownership of media outlets, satellite television stations ensure pluralism and fewer facts of violence against journalists are detected. ფოტოგალერეა
