2 members of Paata Burchuladze’s party arrested

Law enforcers detained 2 members of Paata Burchuladze’s party last night. The incident took place near the State for the People party office.

"All day long yesterday they were under surveillance. At night, when they were leaving the office, police officers started searching their vehicles. When one of the persons, sitting in the car, protested against it loudly, police arrested him and another one trying to help him,"- a representative of the party says.

Investigation is underway under the article pertaining to resistance to police.

The trial is likely to be held today.
