Constitutional Court Chairman questioned

Questioning of Constitutional Court Chairman Giorgi Papuashvili lasted during six hours at Chief Prosecutor’s Office yesterday. 

Investigator Beka Kvitsiani spent nearly half a day in the Constitutional Court building. After the questioning Beka Kvitsiani told journalists he could not talk about details due to the interest of the investigation. According to him, the prosecutor's office will release a statement later.

“Mr Giorgi was questioned with regard to the statement made by him on 21 July. All judges have already been questioned in connection with that issue. The details will be provided later by the prosecutor's office”, he said. Giorgi Papuashvili has not made any comment.
