CEC- Voting process held peacefully in general

The Central Election Commission (CEC) reported about the number of complaints opened in relation of the repeated balloting with Majoritarian (single mandate) election rule for the 2016 parliamentary elections held today at 4 polling stations in Marneuli and Zugdidi towns of Georgia. Nine complaints are submitted to CEC. 

One complaint was written at Zugdidi polling station and 8- in Kizilajlo. The CEC reports that the complaints are mainly of technical character and concerning minor procedural violations and will not affect election results. 

Two polling stations were opened in Jikhashkari, one in Ganmukhuri village and the fourth – Kizilajlo. The polling stations were opened at 8 AM and closed at 8 PM.
