The inter-institutional commission held the 12th sitting today. Tea Tsulukiani, Justice Minister headed the sitting which discussed the information and violations provided by political parties and non-governmental organizations detected during the pre-election period ahead of the second round of 2016 parliamentary elections. 

Representatives of United National Movement (UNM) Party boycotted the sitting. The UNM believes that the commission’s work and reaction on election process related violations is not effective.
