Georgian soldiers return from Afghanistan

The 52nd Battalion of the Georgian Armed Forces’ V Infantry Brigade, the quick response platoon of the National Guard, the 42nd Battalion "Alpha" of IV Mechanized Brigade returned to the homeland from Afghanistan. 

Defense Ministry reports that Georgian soldiers were hosted at the airport by Defense Minister Levan Izoria and US Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly.

The Defense Minister and the US Ambassador thanked the soldiers for successful implementation of the mission and congratulated them on safe return to the homeland.
