Plans of GPB’s new General Director

Georgian Public Broadcaster will become one of the leaders on the media market – This is the plan of Vasil Maghlaperidze, new General Director of GPB. 

Maghlaperidze said he did not exclude attraction of journalists from other TV Companies but the main focus would be made on GPB team. Maghlaperidze already talked to members of GPB Board of Trustees and journalists of Newsroom. 

Vasil Maghlaperidze has become General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) through the second tour of secret balloting held by GPB Board of Trustees. Maghlaperidze received 6 votes of the 8-member Board. He will take the post with 6-year term.
