Initiative Group of GPB working on alternative action plan

The Initiative Group established at Georgian Public Broadcasting (GPB) is working on an alternative action plan of GPB development. The document will be presented to GPB Board of Trustees. 

Non-governmental organizations criticize the 3-year action plan of GPB’s development and transformation, presented by General Director Vasil Maghlaperidze on February 6. 

NGOs claim that the proposed plan is in contradiction with the Georgian legislation. The third sector believes that suspension of all programs at GPB will cause doubling the facing problems. NGOs claim that GPB should continue functioning and care for resolution of problems at the same time.
