Universal health care for citizens with high income will be differentiated. The Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs plans to publicize details this week. 

"The first category includes individuals with an annual income of more that GEL 40 000. They officially pay income tax. There are 32 000 people in this category. 20 000 out of them enjoyed private insurance, while 10 000 attempted to apply universal health care program. 

However, they were in no need of applying the program. So, the first category will include individuals with high incomes. As for the vulnerable groups, we’ll have a detailed information campaign this week and I will personally brief the public on all details,” Davit Sergeenko, Minister, told reporters.
