Two days left before enactment of visa-free regime


Two days left before enactment of visa-free regime with EU.

From March 28 Georgian citizens will be able to travel to Europe without visa.

Various cultural  activities will be held to celebrate visa liberalization in Tbilisi on March 26-27. 

According to Tbilisi City Hall, the renewed Agmashenebeli Avenue will be decorated on March 26.

Throughout the day the guests on the European Street will be treated by Culinary Academy chef cooks with both Georgian and European dishes. From 12:00 am Georgia DJs - Nika J, Tomma, Bacho, Cobert, Gacha Bakradze, Luna989 and Misho Urushadze - will play music non-stop. 

Children will be able to enjoy thematic games, in particular, they will be taught how to pack suitcases for traveling and will be provided with information on the state border crossing. At 15:00, the public project "Conduct us" will begin and a puppet opera will be performed. At 18:00, the Georgian group The Black Marrows will perform, while a concert of well-known European music will be held at the end of the day.

On March 27, the Georgian and the EU flags will be lit up and a grand gala concert will be held in the European Square artists. At the end of the concert, which will start at 21:00 and two hours, celebratory fireworks will be displayed.
