Georgia and Germany celebrate the year of friendship in 2017. German migrants arrived in Georgia 200 years ago and German-Georgian diplomatic relationship also marks the 25th anniversary.

Cultural, economic, educational and sports activities will be held in both countries. Deputy Georgian Foreign Minister Khatuna Tortladze and German Ambassador to Georgia Heike Peitsch talked about the planned events during the meeting held at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
