The non-parliamentary opposition assesses the removal of the members of oppositional parties from the Constitutional Commission list as the manifestation of autocracy from the majority.

According to Dimitri Lortkipanidze, a similar precedent has already taken place, when three members of Constitutional Commission refused to cooperate, however Irakli Kobakhidze did not take them out from the list at that time.

Dimitri Lortkipanidze thinks that before their removal the Chairperson of the Constitutional Commission should had to apply in writing to the members.
