Georgian PM offers condolences to families of deceased miners

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili expressed condolence to the families of 4 miners who died during the tragic incident at Mindeli mine in Tkibuli town. 

PM released a statement which reads as follows: ‘In this tragedy I would like to offer my condolences to the families of Tkibuli miners. I am following the local developments, being informed from the corresponding agencies. Georgia’s government members and local government representatives are at the scene,’ he has said.

The bodies have already been recovered after all night’s search. Georgia’s Economic Minister Giorgi Gakharia says the dead miners’ families will get financial compensation.
