G20 leaders gather in Hamburg, Germany
The G20 leaders have gathered in Hamburg within the framework of the first meeting of the summit.
The first meeting refers to fight against terrorism. Only G20 leaders are taking part in the meeting. Angela Merkel, as the host leader has met all the guests at the congress-center foyer. After the meeting the leaders are supposed to make statements concerning the meeting topic.
The summit will last for two days. Germany became the Chief country of the G20 on December 1, 2016.
Climate change problems, development of Africa, elimination of starving and strengthening women’s roles in society are named as the priorities of the summit.
