Tbilisi City Court will discuss the case of Otar Abesadze

Tbilisi City Court will discuss the case of Otar Abesadze, employee of Tbilisi City Hall today.  The prosecution requests imprisonment as a preventive measure.

Officers of Anti-Corruption Agency of State Security Service detained Otar Abesadze, employee of Tbilisi City Hall on charge of bribe-taking on July 12. 

According to State Security Service, investigation determined that in May 2017, Abesadze promised a certain citizens to assist in accelerated issue of a permit for arranging the café Tivi and relevant infrastructure and took 3,000 US dollars in return.
