Issue of Saakashvili’s extradition depends on demand of Georgian government – Poroshenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko being on a visit in Georgia said that he had not received any demand from the Georgian government regarding extradition of ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili. Therefore, the issue has not been discussed at all. 

“We have been involved in efficient communication with the government of Georgia but we have not been asked for his extradition,” Poroshenko claimed. 

According to Ukrainian President, everything depends on the Georgian government in terms of adding the issue on the Ukrainian agenda. Poroshenko has also stressed that there is no problem in terms of Georgia-Ukraine relations.
