Tengiz Pkhaladze, Advisor to President for Foreign Relations Issues, has assessed today's statements of Parliament Speaker as "party assignments given to the ambassadors".

As Pkhaladze declared, "It is regrettable that the Parliament Speaker speaks to the diplomatic corps as a party asset and gives them party tasks."

"It is very sad and very bad that the Parliament Speaker talks to the diplomatic corps as a party asset and gives them party tasks. This was a fair complaint of the Georgian society against the previous government and this practice ended in 2012. It is absolutely unacceptable and completely inadmissible to use such practice," said Tengiz Pkhaladze.

Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Parliament provided detailed information about constitutional amendments to the Georgian diplomats at Ambassadorial 2017 being held in Tbilisi.
