We have made another very good and important decision for the city - territorial borders of Vake Park will be increased. According to the Tbilisi City Hall press office, Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania said about the abovementioned at a press conference.

Davit Narmania explained that Vake Park and the Turtle Lake area will be united and the most important thing is that this space will be given the status of a cultural heritage monument," Narmania said.

According to him, the area of Vake Park is 18 hectares and the unification of the Park and the Lake territory, the park's borders will increase to 34 hectares, which means that the city will have another protected recreational zone, which will be granted the status of cultural heritage.
