Publish Time 2017-08-07 12:07:00 Update Time 2017-08-07 16:03:00

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to arrive in occupied Abkhazia region on August 8.  The program of so called visit is very brief - Vladimir Putin will hold negotiations with Raul Khajimba, de-facto president of occupied region of Abkhazia.

So called visit coincides with the 9th anniversary of the August War. Russia's military aggression in 2008 has ended by occupation of two regions of Georgia and Kremlin's recognition of independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. In 2014 Russia signed the so-called agreement on alliance and integration with occupied region of Abkhazia and in 2015 the same so called agreement was signed with occupied Tskhinvali region.
