Process of so-called Passports issuance in occupied Abkhazia
Another wave of so-called Passports issuance has been launched into Georgia’s one of two occupied regions of Abkhazia.
Residents have already received a warning.
According to the decision of de-facto Abkhazian government, all current identification documents will be abolished from 2018.
As a result, ethnic Georgians residing in Gali district are facing the choice - to refuse from Georgian citizenship and obtain so called Abkhazian passport or receive document on Residence.
