Fire localization works continue in Borjomi Gorge

Fire localization works continue in intensive regime in Borjomi Gorge. 

The spread areal of wildfire has not been increased; however several difficult destinations of flames still exist.

About 1500 rescuers, heavy vehicles and  helicopters are working in Borjomi Gorge in attempt to localize the fire. 

The field operations headquarters, which is coordinated by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, is working in emergency regime.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the situation is under the control. According to him, several countries are express readiness to assist, including the United States, Germany, Ukraine, Great Britain and Greece.
