First plenary sitting of fall session to be held

The first plenary sitting of fall session of the Georgian parliament will be held today. Lawmakers said that the main topic for discussions will be approval of changes to be made into Constitution of Georgia.

A very refined constitutional project has been elaborated that will inevitably be adopted during the autumn parliamentary session as approved through the second hearing, - Georgia’s Parliamentary Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze said on September 5.

According to Kobakhidze, the editions will be taken into consideration and consultations will be held over the date of the third reading. “Venice Commission representatives will be among the consultants,” Kobakhidze underlined.
