The family members of Afgan Mukhtarli have publicized the photo and video materials that, in their opinion, confirm that they are being watched.

Afgan Mukhtarli’s wife Leila Mustafaeva calls on Prime Minister and law enforcement agencies to speed up with the investigation regarding the case.

As the family lawyer said, the materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for already a month ago. According to Archil Chopikashvili, the materials have not been published before due to the interests of investigation.

The prosecutor’s Office responded to the fact. According to the main investigative body the investigation into the case is underway under Article 143 (illegal imprisonment) of the Criminal Code of Georgia and the presented material is being studied.

As a reminder, Azeri journalist Afgan Mukhtarli was abducted from Tbilisi when he was returning home on May 29, 2017. Later he happened to be at Azerbaijani territory.
