The International Sport Tourism Conference was held for the first time in Georgia.

The economic development issues have been discussed during the forum. In particular, territorial marketing, creation of branded events, development, integration of small and medium business in organizing sport and other events, etc.

The conference was attended by Tbilisi Mayor David Narmania, head of Tourism Administration Giorgi Chogovadze, representatives of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and the heads of organizational committees of the World and European Championships.
