New regulation on video penalties takes effect tomorrow
A new regulation on video penalties will take effect starting November 1, and the so-called smart cameras will also start functioning that will reflect different administrative violations by means of the programs established at the joint operations center.
As Georgia’s Interior Ministry informs, special information booklets were prepared by the ministry and patrol police officers provided drivers in Tbilisi as well as in regions with the booklets.
The new regulation on execution of video penalties will take effect throughout Georgia. Up to 3000 smart cameras are planned to set in motion till the end of 2017 across Georgia.
