Deputy Defense Minister summoned for questioning to the Prosecutor office

The Deputy Defense Minister Alexandre Batiashvili has been summoned for questioning to the Prosecutor office. He will be questioned over the case of detention of high officials of the Ministry. Prosecutor office reported that the agreement between the Ministry of Defense and the "Silknet" company was signed by Batiahshvili. The Prosecutor’ Office of Georgia detained Defense Ministry high officials on charges of embezzling 4.102,872 GEL from the state budget on 28 October. Preliminary imprisonment is sentenced to them.
