Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili invited governmental members to the parliament where he is scheduled to deliver annual report on March 31.

However, the government has not made the final decision yet. According to Vice Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze, consultations will be held in the government over the issue.

The President’s Administration applied to the parliament in written form. According to the letter, the parliament has to ensure presence of representatives of executive and court authorities as well as Diplomatic Corps who traditionally used to attend the annual speech.

Also according to Administration, President Giorgi Margvelashvili is ready to take part in any format following his report including in political debates.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Procedural Committee claims that governmental members are not obliged to attend the annual report of the president.
