Health condition of police officer wounded in Varketili remains difficult

The health condition of Valerian Grdzelishvili, police officer who was wounded in the shootout in Varketili district of Tbilisi on April 4 remains difficult. 

Doctors claim that the patient’s health condition slightly turned to the better. The other police officer Beka Margishvili died while performing of his duties. 

The suspect Shalva Abuladze, convicted in the past is not detained. Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office is heading investigation into the case.
