Ignoring addresses made by international community, Russia’s occupational forces continue to violate human rights and restrict the right of free movement, which frequently results in death. The situation causes serious concern, especially considering the lack of any international mechanisms in the area. The EU monitoring mission is still confined to merely observing the situation in the occupied territories, and international organizations are barred from entering,”- reads the statement.Georgia’s Foreign Ministry has called upon Russia to respect fundamental rights of the people living on occupied territories.
