Tbilisi 2015 – Georgian judo wrestlers lose chance to win gold medal

The second day of the Youth Olympic Festival Tbilisi-2015 turned out unsuccessful for Georgian judo wrestlers, who lost the chance to win gold medal. 

However, Zurab Kakhniashvili and Temur Nozadze managed to win bronze medal. They defeated Czech and Turkish rivals. The competitions were held at Judo Academy in Tbilisi. 

In parallel, the Georgian youth basketball team, which defeated Turkey on July 27, lost against Bosnia today. Tennis players have some success. 

The Youth Olympic Festival was opened on July 26 and will end on August 1. About 3800 young sportsmen from 50 countries are taking part.
