Tbilisi 2015 – Georgia wins first gold medal
Georgia won the first gold medal at Youth Olympic Festival Tbilisi-2015. Robizon Beglarishvili, a judo wrestler defeated his Italian rival in the 60 kilogram category.
The third day of the festival also turned out successful for 16-year-old judoka Natalia Kipshidze. She won over the British rival and won bronze medal.
The semi-final ended in favor of the Georgian sportsman Bagrat Niniashvili. He also won bronze medal. As for tennis, Nikoloz Davlianidze will compete for the medal. He qualified for quarter final.
The Youth Olympic Festival was opened on July 26 and will end on August 1. About 3800 young sportsmen from 50 countries are taking part.
