President visits memorial of killed soldiers in Shindisi

Publish Time 2015-08-11 13:10:00

“The enemy wants to test our patience,” President Giorgi Margvelashvili said on August 9 while delivering his speech at an event devoted to the memory of Georgian soldiers killed by the Russian army in the village of Shindisi near the breakaway Tskhinvali region.

Defense Minister Tina Khidasheli and other members of the government also visited Shindisi together with the President. The latter also commented on the developments at the occupation line.

“Our enemy continuously tries to get on our nerves and remind us of our most painful wound. They do not know how brilliant we are at being patient.

We are standing on the very spot where they were unable to gain victory over us. They could not beat the Georgian spirit,” Margvelashvili said.
