Irakli Abuseridze not to run for President of Rugby Union

Irakli Abuseridze, a member of Sakrebulo (City Assembly) and former captain of “The Lelos” will not run in the Presidential race of Rugby Union. 

Based on the information obtained exclusively by “Moambe” News Program of First Channel, Abuseridze withdrew his application at his own will. However, exact motives standing behind the decision are not known. 

Abuseridze’s move was preceded by the statement released by the Union speaking about alleged pressure on the election race. Presidential elections of Rugby Union are scheduled for December 20.
