Marina Nikolozishvili, wife of Bidzina Kuchava, founder of Voice of Georgia suspected of murder of Vakhtang Kiria, Prosecutor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, is being questioned at Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office.

Nikolozishvili arrived at investigation agency at 14:00 together with lawyer of the family and independent expert Maia Nikoleishvili. The lawyer demands to be handed over the materials into the case.

The family of Kuchava accuses Archil Talakvadze, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, of having violated presumption of innocence. The family plans to apply to Prosecutor’s Office with the urge to re-qualify the case from suicide into premeditated murder. They claim that Kuchava planned a visit to Africa in the nearest future and any attempt to end his life was excluded.
