Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of Georgian Prime Minister for Georgia-Russia Relations makes explanations regarding the last Prague Talks. Abashidze responded to the statement made by Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashili, who demanded clarifying of negotiation’s format during the interview with Moambe news program yesterday.

Giorgi Margvelashvili criticized Special Representative for not responding to Karasin’s remarks at the Prague talks appropriately. Zurab Abashidze says that the Margvelashvili’s position astonished him.

The format of the talks has once again become the issue of discussion in Tbilisi. Ruling team and part of opposition reiterate importance of talks, however some opponents talk about making some changes in it.

National Movement Party calls for cancellation of Abashidze-Karasin format of dialogue.
