Girchi threatens with planting marijuana publicly

If the new Parliament and the Government will not change the existing drug policy, Girchi members will plant marijuana in public on December 31, 23:59, in the party office, together with other adult volunteers. This was announced today at a press conference by Zurab Japaridze, one of the leaders of Girchi.

The party’s address to the Parliament was presented to the media by Japaridze. Girchi demands legalization of consumption of marijuana and products containing marijuana, as well as cultivation and storage of marijuana for own use.

“We, Girchi, are oriented to getting more freedom. We relate all issues to the human freedom, which starts with full freedom in terms of management of own body. We think that this is a fundament of any human right and free society cannot exist without it. We are trying to change the dragon policy in this country,” Japaridze said.
