There is a political struggle inside the National Movement - Otar Kakhidze

There is a political struggle inside the National Movement between Akhalaia’s team acting on behalf of Saakashvili and Bakradze-Bokeria-Melia’s team - Otar Kakhidze has posted on the social network. 

Kakhidze says he is a member of Bokeria’s team. "There is a real political confrontation inside the party. Nugzari, Ako and Chiora are members of Akhalaia’s team. I remember Akhalaia’s position concerning the parliamentary mandates and I remember how it was supported by his team. It is also clear that messages against Bokeria, Ugulava, Kezerashvili and Merabishvili are coming from them”, - Otar Kakhidze says.

According to him, the aim of Bokeria’s co-thinkers is to develop the party leadership and defeat Ivaniashvili and not to isolate Mikheil Saakashvili. “Their aim is also the same: replacement of the government, but they want to achieve it without touching the chairman’s post. They are telling Saakashvili that he will be isolated from the party if he is not elected to the chairman’s post again”, says Kakhidze.
