Officers of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained one person on charge of being the so-called ‘thief-in-law’ at Sarphi border checkpoint.

The person served prison sentence in the past. He was entering Georgia’s territory from Turkey when detained. Further investigation into the case is in progress.
