Chkondidi Mitorpolit Petre Tsaava responds to the decision made by Holy Synod yesterday. Mitorpolit Petre explains that he obeys Patriarch will and is ready to transfer his authority to the new head the Patriarchate’s television.

It is unknown who will replace him on the post, as this issue has not been discussed during the Holy Synod session.

Mitorpolit Petre describes the reports about the candidacy of Giorgi Andriadze as shameful. According to Mitorpolit he remains in diocese, where he will continue religious activity.

Based on Synod’s yesterday ruling Chkondidi Mitorpolit was deprived of the authority to head the Patriarchate’s television.   According to Mitorpolit Petre he was reprimanded due to his resent statements.
