Based on decision of Holy Synod Chkondidi Mitorpolit Petre Tsaava was dismissed from the post of the head of the television of the Patriarchate and reprimanded him due to his recent statements.

According to the ruling, the Mitorpolit Petre voiced his positions during the session; however Synod members did not support him.

According to the decision, father Giorgi Mamaladze’s case was discussed at the meeting of the Holy Synod among other issues. “The Holy Synod trusts the investigation and hopes that it will be carried out in a transparent way”, - the decision of Synod reads.
